I'm leaving for the US on Wednesday till 15jul. And I'm starting work on 30aug at EY. Don't ask me anymore k, jot it down in your diary or calendar!!!! Will be highly uncontactable while overseas, please drop me a fb post/email/sms if you're looking for me :)

And yes, I'll buy back the whole Reese's shop so don't worry I'll forget your share :)

Went to the salon a couple of days ago. Before the rebonding was done the lady did a scan of my scalp to examine the health of it. Yeah like I didn't know we could seriously consider the scalp a living thing! Even the tiniest of dandruff flakes looked gigantic in the computer, was so digusted! But the screening is FOC and rebonding cost $80nett regardless of hair length (gosh it's like the cheapest rate I've come across so far). So I highly recommend Hair Plus to friends :) It has been a long time since I walked out of the salon feeling happy rather than being plauged with some inferiority complex issues. The previous salon before I switched to Hair Plus totally destroyed my hair, with all the dryness and split ends. If you want to get a hair cut, look for Yvonne on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She's good!

Lol Jessie why are you advertising for them. But, it's the best salon which has made me satisfied thus far!!

Little brother was busy packing his school bag for the new term tomorrow. There was a slight confusion going on about what books to bring and my mum went "eh take out the 2A lah, must bring 2B tomorrow already". HAHA, like when was the last time I had to do such things man. A decade ago?

I managed to lay my hands on the bass during band training today!! It works in a similar fashion to a guitar, but the frets are alot wider and the playing technique is different. Like when you pluck a string, you have to use different parts of your fingers or hand to stop the other 3 strings from vibrating. So let's say if I pluck the third string, my finger on the right hand has to rest on the fourth, and my fingers on my left hand have to rest on the first and second, on top of holding a note on one of the frets. It's not as easy as I thought!! Fortunately classical guitar training has served me well, it is already a habit for me to rest my fingers on the neighbouring string, so I don't have to consciously tell myself that. Managed to play one song fluently with the bass, thanks only ONE song. And I'm not even talking about mastering it?!

My shifu James taught me some jazz chords and progressions as well. Gosh it's so nice to hear jazz and blues, but it's so difficult to play! :( You really have to tell the mind to play on all the off beats, which is near impossible unless practice has perfected it, and after getting the beats right you still have to worry about the notes! And I'd still like to have a try with the drums, yes I know I'm a coordination idiot but a simple groove is enough to make me contented :D

Have been trying to meet up with more people before I fly off. Not that it's a big deal, but I guess that's what people do when they're having holidays. Slack, eat, sleep, shop, meet people and go around telling people you're on a well deserved vacation :)

i left my footprints (:
